Yoga Class Etiquette
Please arrive about 10 minutes early to allow yourself time to set up your mat and gather any props that you might need. Lie down quietly on your mat before class starts
Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to stretch and move comfortably
Please turn off all cell phones. This is time to devote to your practice with no outside distractions
You may bring your own mat to class or borrow a mat for your first class.
We sell Yoga mats in our boutique for $20 which you can purchase.
If you have never taken a yoga class before, or if you are looking to renew your practice, the Beginner class provides a perfect start. It is a six week course designed to introduce yoga postures, breathing exercises and Yoga philosophy. Classes meet once a week for a 90 minute class and provide the skills and techniques to prepare the student for Open classes.
Class Cost $85.00 per six week session. Includes coupon for one free class.

This is a four week course designed to supplement the initial Beginner class allowing the beginner Yogi to sharpen and expand their practice of the postures and breathing exercises acquired in the first session. The emphasis is placed on learning all the standard twelve postures of a traditional Sivananda style class. All classes are 90 minutes long and meet once a week. The student will practice the standard asanas (postures), pranyama (breathing exercises), and relaxation.

Open classes are designed for all levels, intermediate as well as advanced. All classes meet for 90 minutes and include advanced practices, asanas and pranayama. Students will move through all the standard postures, such as Sun Salutations, Shoulder Stand, Balancing postures and Cobra series as well as many others. Students will enhance and refine their breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques. The open class provides a wonderful venue for strengthening, increasing flexibility and balance and uncovering the abilities and sensibilities of the body, mind and spirit.
Open classes are conducted on an ongoing basis and you are welcome to attend class at any time.
It is not necessary to register for open classes.

Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation practice. It is intended to create deep relaxation of the body
with the intention to mindfully increase self awareness. In this state of true relaxation, one remains fully awake. This practice fosters deep relaxation, increased self awareness and mental clarity.
Yoga Nidra classes are held on the first Friday night of each month from 7-8 pm (Donations gratefully accepted)
Restorative Yoga Class introduces nourishing and supported poses giving
the opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of present moment centering
inherent in yoga asanas. The postures are supported by blocks, blankets
and other props allowing for maximum length and comfort in the
Restorative Yoga is held the second Sunday of every month. Cost $15.00
Kirtan is a call and response practice of devotional chanting of sacred mantras. It involves chanting hymns or mantras to the musical accompaniment of instruments such as the harmonium and tablas. Kirtan gives full expression to the longing of the heart to know and experience divine love and satisfaction.
Kirtan is held the third Friday of every month, led by Acharya Krishnadas Sharma. Suggested Donation $15
